Wow, Chuck you sure do write alot. And I might ad, nicely . I love reading your letters and emails and of course your blogs.
2o pounds Chuck, wonderful. You and your knee must feel better. Since I gained all my weight back my back has been really starting to bother me. Oh, what is boutique medicine? No appt. necessary ? Walk ins only? Ava get better fast.
How about that snake!Any cops bugging vagrants hiking the in the San Fernando valley .

Walt Disney sounds like he should have a movie made about himself.

Lets see. Yesterday(Saturday) dad and I went out to dinner and a movie after I got off work. You know, I had a good time with him. My husband and son were out hunting, (killing things). Last week Dad was over for dinner and you can see he is getting better.

I should give you all my opinion on dad Even if you all did not ask). I only see him once a week maybe twice. But I believe that he is the poster boy (old man) for healing. He looks great and yesterday while talking about mother we only broke down one time and gathered our selfs back real fast. NO BLABBERING. Dad is also on a break from the gambling. He is testing himself to see if he can go a month without. He is feeling much better from they way he acts. He seems to be even flirting with women (for instants the waitress last night), his age or around his age. Not sure I relish the thought, but of course seeing him happy and anyone you love happy is just about a comfortable feeling, the kind you what for loved ones. OHHHHH, love is good. Chuck and Ava 35 years HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!.

As for the holidays dad has decided that he will not have thanksgiving with us the Wilde Family. He is not going to join us. He told me last night that he only went over to my in-laws house with Paul after Mom died because I wanted him to . Well, that is that. As for Christmas, I just am not sure. Dad says that he is up for any invites. I m not sure if I believe that.

I had a dream about mom a few eves ago and it really was strange, cause I was upset with her in this dream, but it was really dad. Go figure.

We are building a home. We meet with the architect again later this week. I just think that I will wait tell you all more a little later. Richard Chas. and Justin are all dong great. Oh, I got a beautiful picture of Dan and his children. Thanks Dan. I love you all.

To the left is Martha "Annie" and daughter Geneva, a slew of other folks of which I think their names may be in the family tree. I know that in 1916, "Charlie" the oldest and first born Milbourne was still alive as he was shot in 1923 by a "shell-shocked" buddy from WW1 but more on that later. I think it's Jonas on the end in front to the right. If you look at one of the photo's to the right, that mustache is familiar.

Some Family Info, Phyllis Barnhart Hynes

Phillis wrote this about the time she put together the family tree. It's interesting that so many names are confusing because they use middle names a lot. I noticed that a son of Edward and Elizabeth, the first ones here from England, has his name listed in the tree as Matthew but in the "William Stephen Hamilton's Wiota, 1828 Diggings - 1993" a small book compiled about Wiota Wisconsin, it shows a few of our ancestors names there. For Matthew, who would be Uncle of Jonas, he is listed as J.M. Milbourn or James Matthew and I guess family mostly called him Matt. A copy of this book was sent to me by Charles Stanley. In this book it shows a copied picture of an original map of Wiota with plots of land, where they are and who owns them. It shows Jonah's property and lists it as 20 acres owned by "J.D. Milburn". Charles Legacy Names

The picture below is a pretty old one and little known to our family, Lucy Milbourne was married to Charles Milbourne and after his death in 1923, she remarried. It was her grandson who I made contact with several years ago on the internet where we shared info. He happened to be a writer for a paper in Illinois and he was able to send me copies of the original articles written about Charlie's murder. Lucy's daughter's name was Marilyn who had a son name Charles Stanley (another Charles, possibly after his granddad), he lived in Palos Heights, Illinois when we were in contact. It's interesting to note that little Marilyn was with her father when he was shot. It's important to share because the name goes back pretty far. Charles was also the name of Charles Earl (Lucy's husband) who was likely named for Charles, his Uncle, his father Jonas's brother who died at 18 years old.
